It’s been compared to My Man Godfrey an awful lot because it is extremely similar but it was still a fun film. Not as good as the former Powell picture but Brian Aherne was still good looking and Burke was a hoot.

It’s interesting how this film has a lot of the same story structure as “My Man, Godfrey”… it’s definitely a winning and very entertaining character chemistry.
I have always loved this movie. In fact, I tell the story of the two dogs “Get Off the Rug” and “You Too” to everyone I know and it’s still funny.
